Abstract
The main objective of this article is to examine the impact of the implementation of the Abraham Accords on the discourse of the Islamic Revolution. The Abraham Accords represent the latest initiative by the United States to normalize relations between Arab and Islamic countries and the Zionist regime. The most significant measures undertaken within the framework of this accord include the establishment of peace and the strengthening of diplomatic relations among the signatories and Israel, the recognition of Israel's sovereignty, the opening of embassies, the exchange of ambassadors, the establishment of consular relations, and the abolition of visa requirements among members. The research findings indicate that the discourse of the Islamic Revolution, rooted in the thought of Imam Khomeini, emphasizes principles such as anti-arrogance, defense of the oppressed, opposition to the United States, support for Palestine and the Holy Quds, opposition to Israel, the reinforcement of the resistance front, and convergence with Islamic countries. Within this discourse, any form of cooperation or engagement with Israel is deemed unacceptable due to its contradiction with the cause of Palestine, whereas the Abraham Accords are designed to normalize relations between Arab and Islamic countries and Israel, thereby conflicting with the foundational principles of the Islamic Revolution's discourse. Furthermore, the discourse of the Islamic Revolution stresses support for resistance groups and countries backing the Palestinian cause, yet the implementation of the Abraham Accords leads to a diminution of sensitivity among Islamic countries toward the Palestinian issue. Moreover, one of the goals of the Islamic Revolution's discourse is the realization of a unified Islamic ummah, which necessitates collective commitment by Islamic countries to the Palestinian cause; however, the Abraham Accords, by expanding political relations between Arab and Islamic countries and Israel, result in the marginalization of the Palestinian cause. Therefore, the implementation of the Abraham Accords is incompatible with the fundamental principles of the discourse of the Islamic Revolution.
