Abstract
The beginning state crisis in Syria was the domino effect of events in the Arab world in 2010, which were influenced by the weakness states in their historical context. in Syria, due to the formation terrorist groups and the entry of regional and transregional actors into it, the people`s protests in the country, which had begun under the influence of the external environment (inspired by the regime change in Tunisia and Egypt,), gained wider international dimensions. Thus, when the domino effect of Arab unrest led to people`s protests in Syria, it was influenced by and linked to the international factor through the activism of external actors. The object of this paper is to address the internal and external levels of events in Syria since the beginning of the unrest in 2010, in order to answer the question of whether the fall of the Syrian government in 2024 should be considered a revolution or an overthrow? Conclusion, since all internal events of states such as social changes, movements and revolutions are always a subordinate of the international environment, the beginning of the Syrian transformations since 2011 was influenced by transborder events that first began in Tunisia but were subsequently influenced by international actors. This transformations after a fifteen-year cease, progressed towards revolution. The method of this Research is based on a qualitative and analytical, due to its use of the fourth generation of revolutionary theories in light of the connection between domestic and international levels.
